2007 Volkswagen Jetta: Buy or Avoid?
The 2007 Volkswagen Jetta offers a premium feel and engaging driving dynamics often absent in its class, making it a compelling choice for enthusiasts. However, its sophisticated engineering, particularly in 2.0T FSI and DSG variants, introduces a moderate risk of costly repairs. A well-maintained example with the robust 2.5L engine can be a surprisingly reliable companion, but neglected models or specific engine/transmission combinations can quickly drain your wallet.
Biggest Strengths
- Solid, quiet ride and premium interior feel
- Generally robust 2.5L 5-cylinder engine
- Engaging driving dynamics and responsive handling
